[Desktop] VM startup failure - HcnCreateEndpoint failed (0x80070490)

Description

Claude Desktop fails to start the internal VM (Cowork VM) on Windows 11. The VM boot process fails with a Hyper-V network endpoint creation error.

Environment

• App Version: 1.1.3189
• Platform: Windows 11 Pro (10.0.26200)
• CPU: 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700K @ 3.60GHz
• RAM: 31.74 GB (16.02 GB free)
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

Error Log

The main error:

This error occurs repeatedly when attempting to start the VM. The app falls back to running without the VM.

Additional Errors

• API connection errors (ECONNRESET)
• CSP violations for segment.io
• React hydration errors
• Network timeouts

Expected Behavior

VM should start successfully, enabling full Claude Code functionality.

Actual Behavior

VM fails to start due to Hyper-V network endpoint creation failure.
