[Feature Request] Improve long-running task visibility with side panel output and cursor feedback

Bug Description

With some of the longer running actions it is sometimes hard to understand the status of the action.

Also, there is no visible cursor in the feedback form, so if I want to adjust my feedback, it is much harder than it should be!

Also, I think the output of the long running tasks is something I should be able to view on the side, rather than just on the bottom.
