[BUG] Cowork AskUserQuestion dialog not rendering on fresh macOS 26.2 install

What's Wrong?

Fresh install, UI doesn't appear, status shows "ask user question" but hangs forever. when manually stopped the askuser UI will appear and allow user input but does not save to context window.

What Should Happen?

Claude's ask user question UI should appear and allow input

Steps to Reproduce

Propose anything in a new cowork task with associated local folder and as soon as the askuser behavior queues up it will hang forever.
