[BUG] /context command in Claude Code for VS code shows both the /Compact (first) and the /Context

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

In Claude Code for VS Code, if I type "/context" it continues to show both "/compact" and "/context" in the available slash commands and the "/compact" is selected or highlighted in bold. So if I type "/context" and hit enter, it will perform a compaction rather than show me the context memory available. This is new since Opus 4.6

What Should Happen?

If I type the full "/context" it should no longer show "/compact" as an option - as soon as I type the "n" the option for "compact" should not appear.
