[BUG] Up arrow key intermittent bug (sometimes moves up the paragraph, sometimes goes to previous message)

Bug Description

When trying to navigate around the prompt area, sometimes when I press the up key when I'm not at the beginning of the prompt input field, it moves the cursor up (as intended). Other times it erroneously goes to the previous message and I have to use left arrow key + home button spam to try and get my way back to the beginning.

Expected Behavior

It's currently very difficult to edit your prompt due to the terminal oddities. Having to hold arrow keys to move around is painful for big paragraphs (where-as a normal input like on a browser would just let you click).
