I ofter have multipe Claude Code session opened in multiple terminals. I find this sometimes problematic to easily figure out which one is which and I have to do silly ! pwd sometimes. I'd love to be able to pass any string (like ticket number or whatever i need) to claude code UI and it should be visible all the time on input area. I should also be able to change the label from withing the session (via i.e. /label command).
╭─[ My label ]──────────────────────────────────────────────────────╮
│ > │
╰───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────╯
? for shortcuts

+1 for this feature 👍
FYI: the workaround I am currently using is to have custom
/statuslinescript that gives me some insights based on the local environment (repo details, work dir, extra meta files I am using etc). But I still really suffer from completely useless listing of sessions that
-ris giving - I'd really want to be able to influence the session summary - I created #5846 for that feature request so it would be best if/labelcould somehow be reflect in summary (maybe?).This issue has been inactive for 30 days. Perhaps you can take a look at this repo which allows you to have several claude terminals in a single window. You can see on the tab if a terminal is busy, ready, or waiting for feedback
