[Bug] Claude Code ignores user instructions and executes unrelated tasks

What the hell is wrong with Claude? This is ridiculous. It's absolutely driving me mad. It will not follow instructions. It starts doing something else on its own. Why?\
\
I give it 1 very simple task to go and fetch me some URLs that I need from the convex database and then it starts to go and do something to do with Google Ads purchases which have no idea where it's come from. We don't have anything to do with that. In this session, that's from a totally different code base and a totally different session by the sounds of it. It's picking up data from elsewhere. We don't, and they're completely separated.
