Auto switch from plan mode to edit mode

Would be a great workflow booster if during plan mode we cna tell claude code to execute the plan and it will automatically switch to edit or auto approve edit mode.

In general, the purpose of plan mode is to require human approval of the plan before Claude begins making changes. So I don't think we would want to let Claude move into edit mode without an explicit permission prompt.
Hi @rboyce-ant thanks for the response, yes that's exactly what i meant, this issue was created back when plan mode didnt prompt and auto switch. I am quite happy with what has been implemented. back then it just stays in plan mode and even if you tell it to execute it doesnt, now it pormpts and automatically execute once there is human intervention.
