[BUG] Win11 VS Code IDE connection not working

What's Wrong?

After running "claude" command on Win11 in VS Code integrated terminal, IDE is not connected.

What Should Happen?

Claude Code should connect to IDE in integrated terminal.

Additional Information

I have tried this on two separate machines. One works, the other does not. Both had:

• Windows 11 build 26200
• Claude Code 2.0.76 (native install)
• VS Code extension 2.0.75

Tried:

• VS Code reinstall,

-Different project directories
-Different node versions

On the non-working machine, Claude Code can still connect to the IDE when running in Terminal app-- just not when running in an integrated terminal in VS Code.
