[BUG] Discrepancy in Context Remaining

What's Wrong?

After turning off the auto-compact feature (and thinking mode for Opus 4.5) in /config, I see a discrepancy between what is reported in the UI. I think the 5% warning here is a bug, because it should be 26.7%

What Should Happen?

Claude needs to explain why there is a discrepancy, if this isn't a bug.

• Version: 2.0.55
• Model: claude-opus-4-5-20251101
• /context shows 27% remaining (53k/200k)
• Status bar shows 5% remaining
• These should be consistent or the difference explained

Steps to Reproduce

• Turn off auto-compact
• Turn off thinking mode
• Run /context when you get the "% left until auto-compact" warning
