[BUG] Claude Code CLI slash command `status` display error

What's Wrong?

• Claude Code (via homebrew) version 2.0.53 installed
• searching for slash command status shows no matching issues in last 3 days
• .claude/settings.json is explicitly configured for claude-haiku-4-5
• The system prompt confirms Haiku 4.5 is being used
• The slash command status displays Sonnet 4.5 instead

What Should Happen?

• slash command status should display model in use

Steps to Reproduce

1. create settings.json for Haiku 4.5 in project settings
2. initiate claude from command line
3. check /status for reported model
4. confirm /status displays different model than in settings.json
5. confirm interactive prompt with Claude reports model as what is configured in settings.json
