Problem Statement

There are some documentation or other files that are not committed, that I would like Claude to be able to reference. It seems odd that the default is to ignore files in it's search. Claude is not a version control tool and the default to be to include all files that you give it access too.

Proposed Solution

Simply add a setting that let's claude know whether to ignore or include files, directories, or file types when using the @ file search feature.
