feat: implement automatic updates

Add support for automatic application updates.

The application should:

• Check for new versions on startup and periodically during runtime
• Notify the user when updates are available
• Provide an option to download and install updates
• Handle update installation gracefully without data loss

This feature should work seamlessly with the tray-based interface.
