What's Wrong?
I was working in a Claude Code project (beta). Claude stopped in a thread and waited for my input, but the thread showed its status as idle, not as waiting for input. I got no alert. I found out only when I opened the thread myself, so the work was blocked until then.
What Should Happen?
When a thread in a project needs my input, it should:
- Show the status "waiting for input", not "idle".
- Send an alert (notification or badge), so that I know to go back to it.
Error Messages/Logs
None shown.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a Claude Code project (beta) in the Claude desktop app on macOS.
- Start a thread and give it a task that needs my input partway through.
- Move away from the thread while it runs.
- Wait until Claude stops for input.
- Result: the thread shows as idle and no alert appears.
