Feature request
In transcript view (Ctrl+O) a search exists, but it starts with / and steps with n/N (less/vim style). That is hard to discover: on Windows I pressed Ctrl+Shift+F (Windows Terminal search), which does nothing in this view, and concluded there is no search at all. With so many slash commands in Claude Code, / is also the key people associate with commands, not with searching.
Please add the common shortcut:
- Ctrl+F opens the search in the transcript view (and ideally directly from the prompt, opening the transcript view with the search field)
- F3 / Shift+F3 (or Enter / Shift+Enter) jump to the next / previous match
- show a short hint in the transcript view footer, e.g.
Ctrl+F search
Keep / and n/N for those who prefer them.
In long sessions I need to find earlier answers or decisions by keyword several times a day; ideally the search also reaches content from before compaction.
Related: #90069 (n/N cannot reach all highlighted matches).
Environment: Windows 11, Windows Terminal.
