Problem Statement

I keep many Code-tab sessions running in parallel across several projects. The Sessions page (project ⋯ → View all) is the best overview the desktop app has: every row shows a status dot (running / needs attention / idle), the project or folder, and a relative last-activity time ("Just now", "2 minutes ago").

But that page is several clicks deep and has no keyboard shortcut. The fast path, ⌘K → Recents, already lists the same sessions in the same order, yet each row shows only the title. So when I hit ⌘K to jump somewhere, I can't tell which sessions are still working, which finished, or which are waiting on me. I either open them one by one or go back to clicking through to View all.

Proposed Solution

Reuse the row metadata the Sessions page already renders in the ⌘K Recents list (and the Sessions filter tab of the palette):

  • the status dot on the right of each row
  • the relative last-activity time ("2 minutes ago")
  • optionally the project/folder name in muted text

Nothing new needs to be computed; the data and the visual style already exist on the Sessions page.

Alternative Solutions

  • **Click through to View all each time.** Works, but it is several clicks and there is no shortcut for it (it is not in the ⌘/ shortcut list or the menu bar, so it can't be bound via macOS App Shortcuts either).
  • A shortcut that opens the Sessions page directly would also help, but surfacing the info in ⌘K fits the existing keyboard-first flow better.

Priority

Medium - Would be very helpful

Use Case Example

  1. I have 6–8 sessions running across projects (research, audio tooling, a web app).
  2. I press ⌘K to jump to the one that just finished.
  3. With this feature I see at a glance: two dots are still running, one says "Just now" and needs input, the rest are idle from an hour ago, and I jump straight there.
  4. Today I either guess from titles or leave the palette to open the Sessions page.

Additional Context

Related (none cover ⌘K specifically):

  • #70372: display start date and last-active timestamp for sessions (closed, not planned)
  • #94790: exact dates in the Code tab sidebar, not just Today/Yesterday/Older
  • #97858: agents view, show when each session last worked
  • #99134: keep running sessions visible in the sidebar's project groups

1. Sessions page (View all): status dot, folder and relative time on every row.

2. ⌘K Recents: the same sessions in the same order, titles only.
