[Question] Desktop 2.37337.1: "</>" glyph before pinned session names in sidebar — intended?
Question
Since updating the Claude desktop app to 2.37337.1 (macOS), items in the sidebar's Pinned list show a </> glyph before the session name, e.g.:
Pinned ⌄
</> <session name>
Is this intended (for example, an icon marking Code sessions as opposed to chats/tasks), or is it a rendering bug?
At first glance it looks like stray HTML markup rather than an icon. The desktop changelog (https://claude.com/docs/cowork/claude-desktop-changelog) doesn't mention any icon or type marker for sidebar or Pinned items. The only Pinned-list entry is v2.2553.0 (2026-09-17), which limits the list to 20 items with a "Show more" link.
If it's intended, a tooltip or a changelog note would help. If it isn't, it's a regression in 2.37337.1.
