Problem Statement

Problem: When the Sessions section is grouped by project, each header comes from the folder name (e.g. claude, michael - /share/homes). These headers can’t be renamed. The only way to get a meaningful label is to create a custom group and move sessions into it manually. But custom groups then detach from the folder: new sessions in that folder land under the old header again. Moving sessions into custom groups can also make the folder groups disappear entirely.

Why: Several remote folders share generic names (claude, michael), so the sidebar headers are ambiguous.

Proposed Solution

Let users set a display name (alias) for a project-folder group, e.g. via right-click → Rename. The grouping stays automatic by folder; only the label changes. It would also help to show the remote host for SSH folders (e.g. sharing-codeability.uibk.ac.at) instead of just the last path segment.
