Option to disable automatic conversion of image file paths into [Image #N] attachments in the prompt input

When I paste or type a real image file path (ending in .png/.jpg etc.) into the prompt input, it is automatically converted into an [Image #N] attachment. This also happens when I want the path as plain text, e.g. a shell command run with the ! prefix such as ! chmod a+w /path/to/page-2.png — the path is replaced by an image and the command is truncated.

Please add a setting to turn this conversion off. I could not find any related setting, environment variable, or /config option in the official docs (settings reference, env-vars, interactive-mode, terminal-config).

Workaround for now: avoid ending the path with an image extension (e.g. use a glob like page-*).
