Preflight Checklist

  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

In the Claude desktop app's Code tab, pinned sessions always appear in the "Pinned" section at the top of the sidebar. The built-in section order (Pinned -> Routines -> Sessions) is fixed, so there is no way to keep a session permanently anchored at the bottom.

Some long-running reference sessions should always stay reachable, but I don't want them taking space at the top above my active work.

Proposed Solution

  • Add a "Pin to bottom" action next to "Pin", giving a second pinned area below the Sessions section
  • Sessions pinned to the bottom should, like top-pinned ones, be excluded from auto-archiving

Alternative Solutions

  • Let users drag-reorder sidebar sections, including the built-in Pinned section, so it can be moved below Sessions
  • Workaround today: a custom section/group, but filing a session there unpins it (losing auto-archive exclusion), and its position relative to Sessions cannot be controlled
