What's Wrong?
Desktop app (Code tab), Claude Code 2.1.295, Windows 11.
In split view (two sessions stacked in one window), a plugin's
ui.render hook for the AbovePrompt band is only drawn in the top pane.
The bottom pane shows no band, even when focused.
The plugin is loaded in the bottom session: its turn.complete and
prompt.section hooks run there normally. Opening the same session on its
own (no split) shows the band as expected.
Expected: each pane draws its own session's AbovePrompt band.
What Should Happen?
Each pane in split view should draw its own session's AbovePrompt band, the same way it does when the session is open on its own.

Not a terminal: this happens in the Claude desktop app (Code tab), Windows 11, app package 2.31226.1.0. 2.1.295 is the latest Claude Code version bundled by the desktop app; npm already has 2.1.296, but the app has not picked it up yet.
