[Bug] /model persists default model across all new sessions silently, causing unexpected usage

Bug Description
The /model command saves the chosen model as the default for every new session, with no warning. On Oct 7 a model change made in one session (around 1 am) quietly made every new session in every project start on Fable 5.1 for about 19 hours. My workflow keeps Fable for planning only, so this used a large share of my weekly limit without my knowing. Requests: (1) when /model changes the saved default, show a clear "this changes ALL future sessions" warning, or make "this session only" the default; (2) show the active model more prominently at session start; (3) let me set an alert when daily usage passes a threshold I choose.
