[Bug] Model setting persists incorrectly after switching to Default

Bug Description
Here are the steps to reproduce:
- started new sesssion
- set model to Opus 5
- set model to Default (Sonnet 5)
- exited using /exit
- resumed session
- had some short conversation
- checked the model with /model - it shows Opus 5 instead of expected Sonnet
