Default spinner verbs should be opt-in (AND FIXED to a single "Thinking" word)

The rotating whimsical spinner verbs ("Mustering", "Schlepping", etc.) are distracting, and for some users they get in the way of using the tool. There's no visible option to turn them off. The fix is the spinnerVerbs setting, but it's undocumented in the UI and split across two places: ~/.claude/settings.json for the CLI and claudeCode.spinnerVerbs for the VS Code/Cursor extension. Setting one has no effect on the other.

Requests:

  1. Default to a plain, neutral status ("Thinking…" / "Working…").
  2. Make the whimsical verbs an opt-in setting, visible in the extension's settings UI.
  3. Have the extension honour spinnerVerbs from ~/.claude/settings.json so one setting covers both.

Environment: Claude Code 2.1.292, Cursor extension (anthropic.claude-code-2.1.292-darwin-arm64), macOS.

It was annoying to have to change the default to get neutral and consistent verbiage. I can't be alone in saying that if that "feature" weren't able to be disabled, I would under no circumstances continue with a subscription.
