[BUG] Pressing <ESC> to interrupt does not work on IntelJIdea. Forcing with <CTRL-C> is sub-optimal.

Bug Description

Pressing ESC to interrupt does not work on IntelJIdea.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start Claude Code
2. Press ESC
3. Furiously pound ESC ESC ESC ESC ESC ESC as if that's going to work
4. !@#$%^& curse as if that's going to help
5. Press CTRL-C until it stops

Expected Behavior

ESC key to work

Actual Behavior

ESC key does not work
