[BUG] CVP access revoked without notice; identity verification (KYC) locked as "not approved" with no retry, so Claude Code keeps hitting cyber safeguard blocks
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
I'm trying to apply for the Cyber Verification Program, but the required identity verification (KYC) step is locked. It only shows "This verification was not approved. Contact support if you need help." with no retry option and no reason given.
Because KYC can't be completed, I can't submit the CVP application at all. Without CVP, Claude Code keeps hitting cyber safeguard blocks during authorized security work. A support ticket has been queued for over a week with no response.
What Should Happen?
A failed KYC attempt should allow retrying (e.g., with a different government ID) or show a reason, instead of permanently blocking the CVP application.
Requested action: please reset my KYC so I can retry with my passport and complete the CVP application, or route it for manual review.
