Problem Statement

Problem

In the Claude mobile app, the Code session list (remote control and cloud sessions) is a flat list with no grouping by project/repository. With several projects running in parallel, it is hard to tell which session belongs to which project, especially since auto-generated session titles describe the task rather than the repo.

Current behaviour

  • Claude Desktop: the sidebar can filter sessions by status, project, or environment, and group sessions by project.
  • Mobile app (and claude.ai/code): flat chronological list only. No filter or grouping by project.

Requested behaviour

Bring the Desktop sidebar's "group by project" and "filter by project" controls to the mobile app's Code tab (and ideally claude.ai/code). At minimum, show the project folder / repo name on each session row.

Why this seems low-cost

Desktop already has the per-session project metadata needed for grouping, so this looks like a UI-parity change rather than a new backend feature.

Current workaround

Manually prefixing session names with the project (e.g. claude --remote-control "proj: task"). This works but is easy to forget, and renames done in the mobile app do not persist to the local CLI transcript (see #68488), which makes renaming from the phone unreliable.

Environment

  • Platform: macOS host, Claude iOS app
  • Session types: Remote Control and cloud sessions
