[BUG] Death spiral refresh screen torpedos entire computer

What's Wrong?

I'm on the latest version, this keeps happening on different instances.

Claude will get to a point where it will spam refresh the screen over and over, it will not accept input from the keyboard and gets to the point where I can't even type in a bug report (this one)

I have to go to another terminal and painfully grep for the process id and force kill. (as typing is so slow due to claude spam refresh)

This seems to happen on long conversations, I've had it happen twice in the last 30 minutes, which caused me to lose a lot of work as I wasn't able to resume the session.

It's unusable in this state

Also - your weekly limits are ridiculous. I run out in 4 days on the $100 plan. Wtf

What Should Happen?

It doesn't spam refresh the screen over and over and over
