Permission prompt not showing in Project thread

What happened
I encountered what appeared to be a non-responsive thread in a Project. I kept sending it messages. The main project Claude suggested it might be waiting for a permission prompt, but I could not see that in the thread. Eventually, I figured out that I could click on the notification related to the permission prompt, which opens another version of the thread that appears to be outside the Project context. There I could see the permission prompt and click it.
I would expect the permission prompt to show in the Project thread.
