Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Oct 18, 2025 by codemonkey800 Closed Oct 18, 2025
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Even after I've closed all claude code instances in Cursor + terminal, I see a bunch of processes running in the background for some reason. Some of them go over 100% CPU time. It slows down my macbook almost to the point of being unusable 😭

What Should Happen?
All claude processes should be killed if instances are closed
