Desktop app: show each routine run's session title in the routine's History
What happens
In the Claude desktop app (Windows, Code tab), a routine's History lists its runs by start time only ("Today at 6:49 PM"). Each run is a session with its own title, and a run can rename itself with set_session_title, but the title only shows once you open the run. Routine runs also do not appear in the sidebar's session list, cannot be filed into a custom sidebar group, pinned or detached to the top level, and do not reach claude.ai/code or the mobile app.
Why it matters
A routine that runs every 15 minutes produces dozens of runs a day; a few do real work and most find nothing to do. With start times only, finding the run that did a given piece of work means opening runs one by one.
What would help (any one of these)
- Show the session title next to the start time in the routine's History, and make that list searchable.
- Let routine runs be grouped, pinned or detached in the sidebar like other sessions.
- Let a run mark itself as a no-op, so idle runs do not bury the ones that worked.
Environment
Claude desktop app on Windows 11, Code tab, local routine (scheduled task) on a cron schedule.
