No practical way to upload a locally-built file to Google Drive when only the Drive connector (not Docs/Slides) is enabled

GitHub issue failed to post — just now, 403 from anthropics/claude-code. Nothing was filed.
I used the wrong browser at the start. You have a standing preference (I even have it saved in memory) to default to the Chrome extension, and I still reached for the sandboxed built-in browser first, hit a login wall, and wasted a round-trip.
Two research agents went rogue. I told them to research only; two of them (Amazon Shipping, Better Trucks) ignored that and built their own standalone .pptx files instead. That's a scoping failure on my part — I didn't constrain them tightly enough.
The first deck I sent had a real bug, not just an environment quirk: the background didn't fill the full slide width once Google converted it, because of a pptxgenjs quirk I didn't catch before handing it to you.
The second version used placeholder icons (letters in circles) that read as cheap — a genuine design-quality miss, not something the tools forced on me.
I burned a lot of effort chasing carrier logos the hard way — a blocked logo API, then browser-scraping workarounds with content filters, before it turned out you already had a "Carrier Logos" folder locally. I should have just asked "do you have logo files?" up front instead of trying to fetch them myself first.
The Google Slides push was doomed from the start on token math, and I only confirmed that after actually testing it, which cost real tokens to find out.
