[BUG] - Focus lost on the main input (vscode extension)

What's Wrong?

When working with the claude code vscode extension (v2.0.21, but the bug was present on previous version) on windows 11, whenever i focus out of vscode (like interact with my web app) then click in the focus to start typing in the extension, the focus get lost, i need to click a second time.

This happens 100% of the time.

If the focus remains in vscode (another input or the actual code), this issue doesnt occur.

Im using:

vscode v1.105.0
claude code extension v2.0.21
claude code 2.0.14
windows 11 23H2 build 22631.5909.

Please let me know if you need any more information.

What Should Happen?

when focusing the main extension input, focus should be lost

Steps to Reproduce

1. Focus the input. All good
2. Focus out of vs code by clicking on anything else (my vscode uses 50% of the screen) like the desktop of a browser
3. Focus back in the main input of the extension
4. Focus is lost. I need a second click to actually be able to type in the input
