Remote Control (mobile) requires connecting a GitHub account before sending any message, even for non-coding chats
Description
When using Claude Code via Remote Control from my phone, I'm prompted to connect/sign in to GitHub before I can ask a question - even in sessions where I just want to chat or ask a question, with no repository or coding work involved, and no intention of publishing anything.
Expected behavior
I should be able to send a message via Remote Control without being forced to link a GitHub account, at least when the session doesn't involve any GitHub-specific action (PRs, repos, etc.).
Actual behavior
The GitHub connection prompt blocks me from sending any message at all. This is also a privacy concern: I don't want to link my personal GitHub account just to have a conversation unrelated to GitHub.
Environment
