[Bug] Long input strings truncated in CLI output, text not visible for editing

Bug Description
A lot of the time, when I'm trying to write out long strings as responses to things that Claude needs input on, then those strings get cut off. The text is still being written, but it's not visible, and so I can't edit it, and I can't see where we are. This is intermittent in some places and in other places, it happens all the time. For example, when I am answering a question and filling in some notes, then those notes better be short, otherwise I can't read them properly. sometimes it happens when giving feedback with the feedback command. Sometimes it doesn't.
