Problem Statement

Problem Statement
/btw answers are shown once as an ephemeral overlay and then discarded — they're intentionally not written to conversation history, so they don't consume context. However, this means that if you ask several /btw side questions in one session, there's no way to go back and re-read an earlier one. The only thing left on screen is whatever your terminal's own scrollback buffer happens to still show, which isn't reliable and isn't something Claude Code manages.

Proposed Solution

Keep /btw Q&A pairs out of the main conversation history (preserving the context-saving behavior), but store them in a lightweight, session-scoped side list that can be recalled — e.g. a Ctrl+O-style toggle, or a dedicated command like /btw --history or /btw list, that lets you cycle through past side questions and answers from the current session without re-adding them to context.

Use Case Example

Use Case Example
A user asks several quick /btw questions while Claude works on a long task, then later wants to double check what one of the earlier answers said, without scrolling through possibly-truncated terminal history or re-asking the same question.
