[GitHub integration] GitHub App reconnection not working

What were you trying to do?

Reconnect the GitHub App

Steps to Reproduce:

• Tried reconnected the Claude GitHub app by clicking "Reconnect GitHub App" (screenshot 1)
• Clicked "Re-link GitHub" when redirected to browser (from desktop app) (screenshot 2)
• I get a success message after a few seconds (screenshot 3)
• After clicking "Continue", I'm taken back to Claude desktop, but the status has not changed. I see what's in screenshot 1 still.
• Retrying does not change anything

Same thing happens on both the Claude desktop app and web.

What happened instead?

GitHub App was not connected even after seeing a success message (see above steps)
