Description

The @ClaudeDevs announcement says the cloud session credit can be claimed with /claim-credit in the CLI. On my machine the command doesn't exist: running it returns Unknown command: /claim-credit.

Environment

  • Claude Code version: 2.1.282 (native installer, latest channel; also tried 2.1.281 on stable)
  • OS: Windows
  • Plan: Claude Max, logged in with a claude.ai account (not an API key)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Update Claude Code to the latest version (claude install latest)
  2. Start claude
  3. Type /claim-credit

Expected behavior

The command opens the credit claim flow described in the announcement.

Actual behavior

Unknown command: /claim-credit

Notes

The command isn't mentioned in CHANGELOG.md for any released version. Is it rolled out gradually per account, or does it need a newer version? The claim deadline is Oct 7, so it would help to know if there's another way to claim the credit.
