[Bug] Diff text rendering broken on system theme switch with auto theme setting

Bug Description
i have light/dark mode set to switch automatically in macOS. in claude i have the theme set to auto. using ghosttty with the "theme = dark:Gruvbox Dark Hard,light:Gruvbox Light Hard"

when the system theme flips the text in claude for diffs ends up with the old colors. if i quit and resume the session it renders correctly.

after the theme filps:
