Bug Description
Claude Code Workflow tool over-spawned sub-agents. A money-audit ran 547
planned agents (verify stage = 3 skeptics × ~180 findings, no cap); ~180
ran
(~36.6M tokens, ~$606, 4h15m, run wf_d956932c-682) before I stopped it.
Please cap total agent fan-out / warn before large runs, and review the
wasted
usage. 2026-09-21, Opus 4.8, ultracode.
