[Feature request] Separate keybindings for canceling operations vs clearing input window (CLI)

Bug Description
Pressing Esc cancels the current operation. However, pressing Esc twice clears the input window. Each time I want to clear my input window and I'm typing too slowly, it cancels an operation. That's bad UX.
