Escape key not canceling actions

Bug Description

Pressing the Escape key does not cancel the current action in Claude Code.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start Claude Code
2. Initiate an action (e.g., tool call, agent task)
3. Press Escape to cancel
4. Action continues instead of being canceled

Expected Behavior

Pressing Escape should cancel/interrupt the current running action.

Actual Behavior

Escape key press is ignored and the action continues.
