Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
In the Claude mobile app, Code tab, when I type into the prompt composer with a Bluetooth keyboard, the focus consistently jumps from the text field to the back-arrow button in the top-left corner after roughly 3 characters. Any further keystrokes go to the back arrow instead of the input field. The Chat tab does not have this problem: the same keyboard types normally there.
What Should Happen?
The prompt composer in the Code tab should keep keyboard focus while typing, the same way the Chat tab does.
Error Messages/Logs
Steps to Reproduce
- Pair a Bluetooth keyboard (NuPhy Air75, 84 keys, wireless) with the phone.
- Open the Claude app and switch to the Code tab.
- Open a session (new or existing) and tap the prompt input field.
- Type a few characters on the Bluetooth keyboard.
- After about 3 characters, focus moves to the back arrow at the top-left; typing no longer reaches the input field.
- Repeat in the Chat tab: typing works normally.
Reproduces consistently, not intermittently.
