Feature request

Hands-free voice input (auto-send, no confirm/review tap) for Remote Control sessions on the Claude mobile app, with plain text output — not a spoken/TTS response, since Remote Control output is code/terminal text anyway.

Context

Related, but neither covers this specific combination:

  • #25115 — proposed voice input for Remote Control, but with a transcription-preview/confirm step before sending. Closed as not planned.
  • #29399 — closed as a duplicate of #25115, same tap-to-record + review UX.

The Claude mobile app's regular chat already has this exact UX for normal conversations: Voice Mode's hands-free setting listens continuously and auto-sends on a natural pause in speech, no button press needed. Remote Control currently has no voice input at all.

Ask

Bring that same hands-free auto-send behavior to Remote Control's dispatch/reply input, with text-only output (no TTS) since a spoken read-back of code/terminal output doesn't make sense for this workflow. Use case: dictating instructions to a running Claude Code session on mobile with zero taps, while reading the (text) response as normal.
