Bug Description
What happened: A prior Claude Code session was blocked mid-task by the real-time cyber safeguard, ending it entirely. I could not proceed at all. Exact error: "Sonnet 5's safeguards flagged this message... Details: [cyber]" with Request ID req_011CexfrBQxxtQfVTFxrb6vA. The work was legitimate personal work. I am working on getting my newer Clevo/Tongfang laptop(s) to work properly in Ubuntu 26.04. This did involve some raw EC register I/O (had to reverse engineer where modern standby was enabled in EC RAM by comparing EC RAM dumps – it works now btw) I had to resort to direct DPCD/AUX-channel writes via a from-scratch reimplementation of NVIDIA's private RM ioctl protocol to get my OLED panel brightness controls working, UEFI NVRAM variable patching to allow for software switching of the GPU mux feature (switch between dGPU and MSHybrid) and hand-patched Linux kernel module (xe.ko) source to get OLED brightness controls working in the Intel xe driver — no other party's systems involved, no network component, no persistence/evasion goal. Everything I have done is on github and public. I’m just trying to get some very new Panther lake based gaming hardware fully functional in Desktop Linux, and that’s it.
