[BUG] `/ide` connection banner reflows/displaces in-progress input text
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Running /ide to connect to VS Code prints a "Connected to Visual Studio Code"
confirmation line into the transcript. When this appears while text has already
been typed into the input box below, it visually displaces/reflows the
in-progress input rather than appending cleanly above it.
Actual behavior
The banner appears to shift/displace the typed text in the input area.

What Should Happen?
The connection banner should append to scrollback without affecting the
input box's rendered content or cursor position.
