[FEATURE] context management/compaction improvement

Problem Statement

Compaction is too aggressive in long sessions and can lose important context. Codex handles this better with more continuous context management instead of one large compaction when the limit is reached. The current approach feels crude and makes long-running sessions less reliable.

Proposed Solution

Let the user choose a context limit, then have Claude manage that context continuously in real time. deciding what to compact, what to keep, and gradually freeing space as needed instead of doing one big compaction at the limit.
