Problem Statement

Title: Support localized/translatable spinner status words (i18n)

Body:

Feature request

The animated status words shown while Claude is processing (e.g. "Honking...", "Musing...", "Ideating...", "Pondering...") are currently hardcoded in English with no way to localize them.

For non-English-speaking users/teams, it would be great if these strings could be translated or configurable, similar to how other CLI tools support i18n for UI text.

Proposed Solution

Suggested approaches (any would work)

  1. A settings.json option to set a UI language, which also translates the spinner words.
  2. A way to supply a custom word list (e.g. "spinnerWords": [...] in settings), so teams can provide their own translations.
  3. Ship a few official translations out of the box (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, etc.) selectable via a locale setting.

Alternative Solutions

Example translations

  • Spanish: Bocineando, Musitando, Ideando, Cavilando
  • Portuguese: Buzinando, Meditando, Idealizando, Cismando
  • French: Klaxonnant, Méditant, Imaginant, Ruminant
  • German: Hupend, Grübelnd, Ausdenkend, Sinnierend
  • Italian: Clacsonando, Meditando, Ideando, Rimuginando

Priority

Low - Nice to have
