Home-screen 'Pull requests' widget shows a stale cross-repo PR that can't be dismissed; clicking it opens an unrelated conversation
What happened
The "Pull requests" widget on the desktop home screen ("Welcome back, …") shows a pull request from a completely different org/repo than the project I'm working in. A work repo's PR (org/repo #12, status "Ready for review") stays pinned there while I'm working in an unrelated personal project. For anyone doing contract / multi-client work this leaks PR titles from other clients onto the home screen.
It cannot be removed
None of these clear the row:
- Archiving the associated conversation
- There is no GitHub connector connected — Settings → Connectors → GitHub shows "Connect"
- There is no Claude / Anthropic GitHub App installed or authorized on my GitHub account — checked all three tabs: Installed GitHub Apps, Authorized GitHub Apps, Authorized OAuth Apps
So there is no live data source to disconnect. It appears to be stale cached session state with no user-facing way to clear it. This is the same symptom as #57939 (now locked).
Additional bug: click opens the wrong conversation
Clicking the PR row on the dashboard opens an unrelated conversation — not the session the PR was created in, and not the session that was archived. The row's link target is wrong.
Requests
- A per-row dismiss / "X" control on the PR widget
- A setting to hide the "Pull requests" section entirely (see also #48765, #57171)
- Fix the click target so it opens the correct session, or nothing, rather than an unrelated conversation
Environment
- Claude Code desktop app
- Home screen "Pull requests" section
