What's Wrong?

Description:

I use the Canva MCP connector in Claude Code for a recurring daily workflow. Observed behavior over several days:

Under claude.ai/customize/connectors, the Canva connector consistently shows status "Connected".
Despite that, a new Claude Code session regularly (almost daily) reports that the connector is not connected / its tools are unavailable.
The only working fix so far: fully delete and re-add the connector in settings (a simple "Reconnect" is not enough).
This pattern shows up specifically when a new Claude Code session is started (not within an already-running session) — the session apparently doesn't correctly pick up / refresh the existing valid connection.

Expected behavior: If the connector shows "Connected" in settings, any new session should be able to use it automatically, without requiring a manual delete-and-reconnect.

What Should Happen?

Claude should have access to canva connector in every session

Steps to Reproduce

Steps to reproduce:

Connect the Canva connector at claude.ai/customize/connectors (status shows "Connected").
Use it successfully in a Claude Code session (Canva tools work as expected).
Close that session.
Start a new Claude Code session later (e.g. the next day) and try to use a Canva tool again.
Observe that the connector is reported as unavailable/disconnected, even though claude.ai/customize/connectors still shows it as "Connected".
Go back to the connectors page, delete the Canva connector, and re-add it from scratch — it then works again in the current session, until the next new session repeats step 5.
